Great food at the hibachi grill, but the restaurant around the grills could use a remodel and/or extensive cleaning. It's not for lack of maintenance, just a result of excessive use.
Food was very good, the hostess an cook were very friendly. The waitress isn't very friendly an didn't come back an offer us refills and doesn't smile. When you work in an atmosphere where you serve costumers you should be friendly.

I usually go to Mtn. Home to eat hibachi, but we decided to try Sakura for the first time tonight. The food was good; however, the waitress approached us impatient to take our drink order. I hadn't even gotten to sit down and get my infant situated or open my menu. When my fiancee finished eating he put the money for our meal in the book and the waitress walked off and counted it. Apparently she thought we weren't leaving her a tip on the table because as my fiancee got our infant into his car seat she came back over to clear the table and literally growled at me with the meanest, most horrible face I have ever seen a server make. I want to emphasize how EXTREME this behavior was. I have never left a review before until this experience. I have waited tables most of my life and I would NEVER have treated customers in this manner. She continued to give me a direct dirty look as she approached to get my dishes which I wasn't even done with!! I told her she was being VERY rude. She would not make eye contact with me. So a warning to any customers who want to try this restaurant. They obviously employ people who have no idea how to act. She would have received her more than appropriate tip on the table had this not happened and even if she didn't get what she hoped for I would have never expected that kind of treatment. I would have fired her on the spot had I been her manager. I am appalled!!
Absolutely love it. Me and my mom had a great experience. The show is pretty average for that type of place but the people were very nice and friendly. Food was excellent.
